Want to know what my favourite training aid is and why?

Visio-Golf-Putting-Training-Aids 1

My favourite training aidโ€ฆโ€ฆItโ€™s a tough one but if Iโ€™m pushed it has to be the Visio Mi Putting Template. Why? Well, there are several reasons.

The first one is because it helps you get feedback and train the most important aspect of putting. Controlling the face. The template will give you feedback on the club face angle throughout the stroke and more importantly impact. If you canโ€™t control your face you canโ€™t control your start line.

Secondly, I love the template for one of the reasons I created it. I wanted golfers to be able to monitor their stroke with objectivity. The ability to be able to video yourself over the template will allow you to monitor your stroke over time, it will also help you determine where some of your face control issues will come from. The references of the template give you feedback on the face angle.

I think this is so important, being able to check up on your stroke, get objective feedback, and tweak feels where necessary is such an important part of developing consistency. I call this calibration. The template is my best calibration tool. Where is my stroke, what are my feels to help me get back to where it needs to be? Thatโ€™s calibration.

Check out this video I put together for members of my online coaching community, where I discuss the template and how they can use it to help improve their own putting.

I love this product so much here is a code for a one off 10% discount, on either the white or black Mi Putting Template, because I know this will help you so much. Itโ€™s the one practice aid golfers didnโ€™t know they needed until they got one!

Do the Lines on Your Putterย Help or Hurt Your Game?ย โ›ณ

Do the alignment lines on your putter enhance your accuracy, or could they be hindering your performance?

Most golfers use the lines on their putters to aim the face precisely along their chosen start line. This is especially common if you also use a line on your golf ball to assist with aiming. But have you ever considered whether these lines are actually benefiting you?

How to read greensย like a pro

Do you ever stand over a putt and second guess your read, only to watch the ball miss wide, breaking too much or not enough? Youโ€™re not alone. And thereโ€™s a chance, the problem isnโ€™t your stroke, itโ€™s the read.

Putting is often lost before the ball even moves. distance, slope (angle & gradient), grain and other factors can all influence how the ball rolls. If you misread those pieces of information, even a good stroke can send the putt off line.
